This practice is an art. A dance. A freestyle form of movement that breeds connection and expression simultaneously. That offers a tactile experience for two individuals to come together and heal one another. Through this exchange, is a violet stream of conscious attention. This therapeutic interaction of energies invites the transformation of bodily systems into soulful expansion. Into bliss, and euphoria, and the essence of the present moment.
To participate in and facilitate such moments brought by mind-body therapy, is to know what it feels like to have a true purpose.
In both forms of giving and receiving, I have learned to feel, to be, to exist and coexist whole heartedly on this earth. To incorporate these experiences into daily life is where my passion resides. So, why mind-body therapy you ask? Well, if joyfully-attentive-existence through the journey is what I most desire; I believe this therapy to be an excellent avenue for this growth, for myself and for my clients.

A sudden tragedy in my life changed me in an instant from a joyful and happy person to somebody experiencing profound grief. I had no idea that grief could be so incredibly physically painful, exhausting, and frightening. In the immediate aftermath of my life event I was very fortunate to get a massage from Russell Sullivan, who understands the close somatic connection between the mind and the body. Russell’s kind intuitive focus on trauma and emotional based bodywork has been perhaps the most important component of my self care efforts to rebuild my life.

Aspen’s knowledge and skills are beyond this world. I always feel so cared for and understood. She has a true gift and I can not recommend her enough! What a gem, I am so grateful for all her support, she truly goes above and beyond to help people. Her amazing intuitive skills with pain management, and in particular my IBS have changed my life for the better. It is true lasting healing work that she does not just a bandaid. Her NCRT nuero-reprocessing work, stomach massage and trauma support is beyond saving my life. I am forever grateful.

Russell is a hidden gem in Boulder, CO. He works in more than just the physical dimension of the body. He’s able to tune into the subtle realms to help unlock stagnant energies that then affect the physical body in profound ways. Bless his heart, my last massage with him brought up a lot of emotion and he invited me to let it flow rather than holding it in. I had one of the most profound shifts as a result of that session. I’m truly grateful to be able to receive bodywork from him.

A few weeks ago I woke up with a crook in my neck. I slept wrong. I was in so much pain and I could hardly turn my head. It was throbbing so intensely that I felt like it could turn into a migraine. Luckily Aspen had a last minute opening. She focused primarily on my neck, head and shoulders. Her hands knew exactly where to go. There were moments of great intensity and a few deep breaths as she worked to release tension in my tight muscles. Within an hour I could feel my muscles starting to soften and the pain beginning to subside. I went from thinking I had to cancel work and lay in bed all day to working a full day and feeling decent. The pain continued to lessen as the day progressed. I was so surprised, thrilled and relieved with how much Aspen was able to help. I went from a 9/10 to 3/10. Aspen is incredibly intuitive and I cannot recommend her enough. She has my trust completely!
